I’ve hit a few snags.
At least one of the questions seem’s impossible. and then there’s the fact that I’m not sure what to even do with my answers once I have them?
I have a sneaky feeling that I may have been led astray?
Worse news is that I have an appointment this afternoon and can’t get back to a computer until late tonight.
And I felt like I was leading for a little while…Good luck everyone.

All the information was retrieved from the internet so the answers are out there. I did the best I could to make sure it was as accurate as possible. For example. If it’s a date you’re looking for I searched several different websites to make sure there was a consensus on it. If you feel I’ve made a mistake please send me an email (to admin@cluechaser.com) and I will look into it.
We already know that despite my ninja-like reflexes and award winning smile I am capapble of making mistakes.

And you were leading. For about 16 minutes you were the only one on puzzle 10.
April 4th, 2008 at 9:48 am
How many are on now?
April 4th, 2008 at 9:53 am
Including you…three.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:07 pm
Ha ha! We have arrived!
April 4th, 2008 at 2:12 pm
We missed you all, it was pretty dark and lonely being stuck back on Puzzle #7.
Seems pretty quiet around here though…

UncleBen,
Welcome
I think I have 9 of the 10 but I am in the middle of noplace.
Of course I did do some creative math.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
Yes, it’s been quiet. From my end it feels a little like I’ve given you all a math test and you can’t go home until it’s done. It’s that kind of quiet anticipatory anxiety I remember in high school.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:17 pm
Don’t you just hate doing math to figure out lat/long coordinates?
I thought it was important to dredge up and reminisce about the complicatedness and confusion of puzzle 3 in game 1.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:18 pm
Taking the r out of trials gave us tials/tiles. Soooo, use the tiles to decode the “word”? Maybe?
April 4th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
I believe the game has ended.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Cowpatty?
April 4th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
On pins and needles, not like we solved it though…
April 4th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
You tell me, check your email. What does it say?
April 4th, 2008 at 2:29 pm
Feel free to copy and paste it here.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
towerofbabel,
Yes? No?
April 4th, 2008 at 2:32 pm
It is true;
“The documents you sent have been decoded to reveal that:
You are the
WINNER!”
April 4th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
Great Job!
April 4th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
Congratulations towerofbabel. Nice job.
For the rest of you, feel free to finish the game. The info may be necessary or at the very least helpful for the next game.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
Great Job!
April 4th, 2008 at 2:36 pm
If you don’t mind please take a few minutes and send an email to admin@cluechaser.com and let me know what you thought of it.
Specifically about the video, audio clip, which puzzles you like, which you didn’t like, the story line in general.
All this is desperately needed so I can create better puzzles in the future.
Thanks for playing. Hope to see you next time.

Ok A little help please:
1 =50
2 = ?
3 =04
4 =72
5 =53
6 =?
7 =30
8 =?
Is this correct so Far?
April 4th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
This has been an intense three days; I commend everyone who forced us to spend upwards of ten hours a day working on cluechaser. It was definitely to our advantage (e8 and myself) to be college students, in the same building.
But I have to say, I preferred the lazier, more reflective format of the last game, stretching over a month.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:43 pm
I agree with towerofbabel.
Even when I had a lead I was worried about going to sleep.
April 4th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
A few hints for D E G,
Anyone?
April 4th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
Well now I know the lower limit. Now I know what kind of puzzle is too easy.
Game 3 should be very interesting. And from what I have in mind so far, quite a bit different.
April 4th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
I could kick myself.
8+3=11 NOT 10.
April 4th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
For anyone following:
You only have to solve the 5 easiest.
This will leave you with only 6 variations to search.
This is what I was doing, but due to an instance of extraordinarily bad math one of my “sure” numbers was bogus.
CHECK YOUR MATH!
April 4th, 2008 at 3:46 pm
If anyone wan’t to discuss it, I still havn’t figured out D, E and H.
Number of sailors?
Number of statues?
Age at what time?
April 4th, 2008 at 9:02 pm
Darn! I just got home and I figured this would be all done. My only complaint is that it is over too quickly. What was the most frustrating puzzle is now my favorite - simply because it took awhile for us to crack it.
Congrats towerofbabel!
I still have some questions on the webcaching questions though. None of my sources gave me an exact number of statues (E) and even their estimates were all different.
for (H) - age when? death - first oath - now???
And am I then required to reorder my answers or are the y already in order?
April 7th, 2008 at 8:25 am
At first we didn’t understand. “What Math!?!”, we asked ourselves.
Then we realized we skipped #10 and went straight to the safe…
April 7th, 2008 at 2:52 pm
Will trade D for A since everything should be public knowledge and especially since the game has been won.
D involves the numbers of the warriors of the first emperor to build a mausoleum of quite that size. There is an exact number and it gave me the correct number for the solution.
What is the building in A? Just can’t seem to find it…
April 7th, 2008 at 3:24 pm
I’ll give you a hint. It’s a temple built into the side of a mountain somewhere in China. It looks like it’s “hanging”.
