Always-Late Larry woke up, you guessed it, late. It was raining outside and although he drove as fast as he safely could he was still late for work. He hurriedly drove into the parking lot, parked, turned off the windshield wipers, jumped out of his car, slammed the door, and ran for the main entrance.
After work, he could not get the car started. The battery was dead. He checked and everything- the lights, wipers, radio, etc - was turned off and the door had been fully closed. Puzzled, he got a jump start from a co-worker, drove home and used his battery recharger to put a good charge on the battery. But despite careful testing, he never found out why the battery went dead. Can you?

He had the lights on while driving to work. He got out without turning off the lights. The parking attendant noticed the lights on so opened the uplocked door and turned them off but the battery was already drained.
